John McCain's poll numbers are up. He's in a virtual tie with Obama, according to Zogby.

Meanwhile, the good news for Obama is that he'll have the vote of Bush Administration liar Colin Powell.
This is a huge boost for the Democrat's chance of overcoming the cynicism and racism of the U.S. electorate.

My crappy TV was showing a reaction shot of Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter in the crowd.
I happened to click the shutter as the image faded to the main shot of John McCain at the podium.
